Breakfast at the hotel, then another day dedicated to discovering the city. We suggest our tour of Imperial Rome, to closely admire the monuments of the Roman Forum, enter the Colosseum and listen to our guide’s presentation of the evocative history of ancient Rome and the gladiators’ fights that took place there. For those with a sweet tooth, there is also the opportunity to take part in a fun cooking class: why miss the chance to learn how to cook an authentic dish from the tasty Italian food tradition, in the heart of the capital, no less? For the evening we recommend a nice walk in the Trastevere district, full of typical restaurants.

ROME – FLORENCE

After breakfast at the hotel, you will reach Rome Termini station to board the high-speed train to Florence; the journey takes about 1h 30’. Florence is revealed in all its splendor. So in the afternoon, after relaxing and checking into your hotel, you will dedicate yourself to walking through the streets of the heart of the city where time seems to stand still. The tales of the expert local guide will accompany your steps: you will discover how the architectural development took it from a medieval town to the cradle of the Renaissance, amidst some juicy gossip and scabrous secrets about the Medici family in the midst of the wonders of the historic center, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

FLORENCE

Breakfast at the hotel, then full day dedicated to the discover of Florence. It is possible to participate in a guided tour of one of the main museums: the Uffizi Galleries, with the masterpieces of the masters of the Italian Renaissance (Leonardo, Caravaggio, Raffaello,

Tiziano, Botticelli and many others), or the Accademia Gallery, which houses the original of Michelangelo’s famous statue of David. Alternatively, you can go on half-day or full-day excursions to discover the neighbouring places of interest such as the he beautiful city of Siena with its strong Palio tradition or more distant places but with an undisputable charm such as the Cinque Terre. FLORENCE – VENICE

After breakfast at the hotel, we board the high-speed train to Venice S. Lucia. The journey

takes about 2h 15′. After checking into the hotel and some time to freshen up a bit, the discovery of Venice can begin through the words of a skilled local guide, exploring the most characteristic and hidden places of the beautiful lagoon. Strolling through the maze of narrow streets, between bridges and sighs of wonder, it will be possible to listen to the legends and mysteries of the city, the stories of its famous merchants, counting the many hidden churches and romantic corners to photograph. Before dinner

in Venice, it is traditional to have an aperitif based on “cichéti” (small snacks) in one of the

many “bacari” (taverns) scattered along the “calli” (that is what the Venetian streets are

called): a must experience to try, absolutely! Overnight stay at the hotel.

VENICE

Breakfast at the hotel, then full day dedicated to the discovery of Venice or its lagoon.

You can take a guided walking tour through the most famous places in the city (Piazza

San Marco with the Basilica and the Clock Tower, the Rialto Bridge, Campo Santa Maria

Formosa) and others less known; or a skip-the-line guided tour of the Doge’s Palace,

with the Doge’s luxurious apartments and the famous Bridge of Sighs. Alternatively, you

can go on a boat trip to the islands of the Venice lagoon: Murano, known all over the

world for its famous glass craftmanship; Burano, famous not only for its lace, but also for

the picturesque fishermen’s houses all painted in bright colours; and Torcello, the first
